Morgan Page Podcast #32

I don't know how big Morgan Page is in the States, but I know that across the pond the man in severely under-appreciated. His production is flawless, and with the exception of his name popping up from time to time, he doesn't get the following he deserves. Midweek is such a challenging time. Its when you should be focusing on studying, but with the weekend being dangled in front of you like a carrot on a stick its so difficult to concentrate. Mr Bass himself is featured again with some BIG tracks. Afrojack has built a name for himself for using huge beats and creating real fist-pump tracks, but I dont know why but something about his style seems to lack the finishing touch that would make him an amazing producer. So I'm sure everyone remembers that HUGE track with Laidback Luke featuring Jonathan Mendelsohn, Till Tonight? It wasn't a particularly special track, but it was good to dance to and became an instant hit. It was remixed by a bunch of people, most notably MSTRKRFT and Chris Kaeser.

When writing on Swedish House Mafia, Rolling Stone magazine could not have put it any better. The days when fans used to go watch live performances simply to sing along are dwindling; instead fans want to go to dance and party along.
