WYLSS is getting a lot of love from Brazil. I guess I always associated music from Brazil with hot girls in thongs at the Rio Carnival, but there is a growing electro house and techno trend that's starting to become realised around the world. One of the main examples of this is that Sensation White have hosted parties in Brazil for the past couple of years. Anyways, here are our friends Criminal Minds once again, this time going in hard on a Deadmau5 track: Deadmau5 - The Reward Is Fucking Cheese (Criminal Minds Mashup) by criminalminds I've also got some tracks from a few new artists that I hadn't heard about before. They all produce electro house, which I'm pretty sure you'll take a liking to. First up is HAS!. HAS! produces a fusion of electro and techno, but the end product is pretty smooth. We don't post a lot of techno on WYLSS, but if you're into it then definitely check this guy out: Gustavo Mota - Doctor Blue (Has! Remix) by HAS! Download The Boomzers - WTF! (Has! Official Remix) by HAS! Next up is Gerra G. This is more like the kind of stuff we usually post on WYLSS; electro house with a bit of creativity that turns normal tracks, into good tracks, and good tracks into great ones. Aqualight - I am Dancing ( Gerrá G. Remix ) by Gerrá G. Gerra G looks to have a big future ahead of him, as he has already signed on to prestigious Toronto-based label BugEyed Records. Gerrá G. & Lewis - After Torn ( Gerrá G. Remix ) by Gerrá G. Gerrá G. -Some Wings by Gerrá G. Finally, we got E-Cologyk, another electro-house duo that sprung up in the past year and that has people talking. They name fellow Brazilian producers Darth & Vader and Zedd (who is signed on to BugEyed Records) as their influences, among others. Sounds good to me. A couple of weeks ago WYLSS posted about Criminal Minds, who are part of a new trend of Brazilian house. They've just released a new track, check it out: Criminal Minds - Learning (Original Mix) by criminalminds The heavy bass and drums from usually associated with dubstep feature in Criminal Minds' work, but they integrate to form their own style, which is pretty cool. In the past few years, the football from Brazil has dipped in quality, and so they're compensating elsewhere, and in this case elsewhere is house music. Criminal Minds hail from Brazil, and he/she/they (not much information is given) have already performed at some of Brazil's big clubs. They primarily produce electro house, and its filled with quality. Check out their January Mix, download it, and keep an eye on them.
