There's been a lot of talk about Kid Cudi's experimenting and mixing of styles in his new music. I frankly think its quite cool. To me it looks like an artist who rose to fame without discovering where he really wanted to go musically, and its only once he got famous that now he's started thinking about it. Sweden continues to provide sound of the highest caliber. jj are a Swedish duo who produce some of the eeriest, almost surreal music. They re-purpose lyrics and re-apply beats to create something you haven't heard before, unless you've heard them. It's definitely worth your time to acquaint yourself with them.
