Kanye West is an enigma. Whether you love him or hate him, chances are you have an opinion about him. Maybe that's what makes him so successful. There is no doubt that the man is a talented producer. But a rapper? And is his style a marketing scheme or is he a really a trend-setter? I like Kanye. He brings an interesting element to the current hip-hop scene, which can too often be crowded with redundant and uninteresting artists. Although I don't like auto-tune, his incorporation of more and more electronic elements into his music has made it more and more interesting in my point of view.
