We Plants Are Happy Plants

We Plants Are Happy Plants was an unfamiliar name on a list of up-and-coming electronic  artists I saw recently. Apparently, WPAHP is a solo 22 year old Hungarian producer who is actually quite good. I was very impressed, and I hope he'll be performing somewhere soon. His sound isn't exactly dance music as its more mellow, but it makes for good chilling sessions. WPAHP released the first collection of tracks he was working on onto iTunes, called Uitc, (Up In The Clouds), and so I won't post any of those, you should just pick them up from there, but he has been working on a few new tracks. Check them out below, and remember the name.

Armageddon (WPAHP Edit)

Emotion (WPAHP Remix)

Time (We Plants Are Happy Plants Remix) **This track is immense!!!

Superheroes (We Plants Are Happy Plants Remix) **Remix of a Daft Punk banger!!

We Plants Are Happy Plants - Apollo

A-Trak Running Man

Because I posted about Duck Sauce, I thought I might as well post this mix by A-Trak. Produced for a collaboration with the Nike+ program, it is the best to work out to, and makes good listening in general. Enjoy.

"Would You Like Some Duck Sauce with that?

Duck Sauce is the insane duo made up of Armand Van Helden and A-Trak. I was introduced through my love for A-Trak, because any sound that A-Trak touches immediately turns into sonic gold. Duck Sauce have so far collaborated on two singles, aNYway and this summer's Barbara Streisand which was a massive hit. Afrojack remixed it at Ministry of Sound in London at the DJ Mag Top 100 Djs party, and that turned into an instant hit as well.
Why are they called Duck Sauce? Who cares, because as A-Trak makes it clear above, The Sauce Makes the Difference.

Ok.

If you don't know Barbara Streisand, here's the original:

About a month ago, London DJ Louis La Roche played a set for Australian radio station Triple J. Somewhere in the middle, he debuted Duck Sauce's next single, Good to Me. I can't find it anywhere on the internet yet, but it'll be up as soon as I do. In the meantime, if you're interested you can listen to LLR's edit of it if you go to minute 40 of the LLR set. Frankly, I imagine the original to be much better, but it sound pretty good. Here it is with tracklisting below for the full set:
